What is leadership...to me

Leadership can mean a lot of different things, and like in class we went over what some of those characteristics are. But what does leadership actually mean to me? I feel leadership is the one thing that every person has in them, just some of us do not like to take that extra step to put ourselves in front of other people. There are many times when everyone has the chance to step up, but not everyone takes the leap. A leader could also be one without knowing that they are leading others. It might take a little time before some leaders can actually see that they are helping others and leading others. I personally feel that I am a leader, but a quite leader. What I mean a quite leader is that I don't like to put myself out in the open all the time, but if I feel like something needs to be said and noone else is putting forth effort then I will stick my neck out on the line. If everyone would feel like they are a leader then there could be situations that may have never had happened. I was wondering if there were others who felt like they were leaders, would much of our history still be the same?

Warren Buffett

When reading the article on Warren Buffett, I couldn't help but wonder how this man could just sit there when a tornado was coming. I think that makes him stupid in a way but he is also a man that knows what he is doing. There are those who don't even know who he is, which before I read this article I knew of him but not as much as I did when I was done with the article. My opinion of him is that he could be one of the best leaders in the world, he knows how to get stuff done, knows what it takes to get these things done and does his best to make everything fall into place. He is someone that many businesses should look to for information and help when the time comes and the business isn't sure what to do next. He is a leader that you could look up to because he isn't stuck up, and he doesn't mind sharing some of his information with others in order to help them become better at what they do.
